Xtreme LP Diving Hoses | BCD/Inflator Hoses | Information & Applications
We always try to offer some useful information on our products, as well as any relevant bulletins we have that may be useful.
Miflex Hoses – Dedicated to Quality
At Miflex we are very proud of our Xtreme range of diving hoses, which have been created and developed specifically for the diving market.
We only manufacture our products from the highest quality materials and manufacture to the highest levels of quality available, in our Italian factory.
You can recognise a Miflex hose, as they are clearly marked with the Miflex name as all products should show you where they are made, as well as the suitable standards and pressure ratings, including the important EN250 marking.
We offer a full warranty on our hoses and continually review our products to assess and improve any areas as required to suit today’s changing diving market and it’s requirements.
Supplied with every hose are the official Miflex Manufacturers User Information and Warranty Guide. This contains information on General Use and Handling, Fitting and Servicing Instructions as well as Warranty Details. These are stored in the Miflex official premium packaging which doubles as a water resistant Dry Bag.
Our hoses are used as standard on equipment by many of leading diving brands.
If you want the best, ensure you are diving Miflex Xtreme.
Manufacturers Bulletin’s
As we discuss our hoses with different manufacturers, they may issue guidance and notes for changing hoses and we will include these in this section.
Inflator Hose Fittings
Our inflator hoses are supplied fitted with a standard Seatec style fitting, with an internal schraider type valve and a 3/8” UNF male thread (to connect to the 1st stage).
This style of fitting is fully serviceable with a replaceable schraider valve. These are available from us as are all replacement O-rings for all Miflex hoses.
Our inflator hoses are suitable for the majority of BCD’s & Drysuit applications where a standard quick release coupler is utilised, but there are a range of fittings that require a different Quick Disconnect fitting. For example breathing applications and different style of inflator / non breathing applications.
These we accommodate in our range with the use of adaptors that can be fitted to our regulator hoses (to convert them to an inflator hose) and details of some of these options are shown on our Adaptors & Accessories page for non-breathing and in the Omniswivel range for breathing applications.
